Seeking to hire a part-time licensed, contractual therapist to provide individual and family therapy. This is an independent, 1099-contractor position and requires a minimum of 10 hours per week of direct client contact, with considerable room to grow (up to full-time, if desired). 

NOTE: Due to COVID-19, position will begin via telehealth and transition to in-person sessions upon termination of the local/national emergencies.

You create your own schedule (mornings, afternoon, evening and weekend hours), see your clients and generate your notes in our HIPAA-compliant, EMR system. Preference will be given to practitioners credentialed / paneled with Maryland Medicaid, Medicare & BCBS. 

Responsibilities 

• Meet with assigned clients in individual and/or family sessions.
• Schedule appointments with clients according to program standards
• Complete clinical notes and other paper work as required
• Maintain consistent contact with referral sources and work cooperatively with other members of the client’s treatment team
• Uphold with high regard, the confidentiality of clients and follow all HIPPA guidelines
• Strict adherence to COMAR and CARF standards both in practice and in documentation

Requirements:

• Master’s degree or higher in social work, counseling, or related behavioral health field
• Licensed in the State of Maryland as a LCSW-C, LCPC, LCMFT or LCADC
• Must possess or obtain Malpractice Insurance
• Must possess or obtain certification in First Aid and CPR.
• Must pass background checks
• Maryland driver’s license & reliable personal vehicle
